About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Lab Engineer to support our Electrical and Mechanical design teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the lab environment, enabling rapid prototyping, and supporting product development and testing activities.
You will play a critical role in ensuring engineers have seamless access to tools, equipment, and infrastructure required to accelerate innovation and meet product and compliance goals.
 
What you will be doing 
  • Own and manage end-to-end lab operations for Electrical and Mechanical design support.
  • Enable rapid prototyping, PCBA rework, and troubleshooting for engineering teams.
  • Support product validation, compliance, electrical, and thermal testing.
  • Maintain a 5S-compliant, organized, and safe lab environment.
  • Plan and maintain lab infrastructure, wiring, and electrical supply systems.
  • Manage lab equipment lifecycle, including procurement, inventory, and calibration.
  • Oversee component inventory, material tracking, and vendor coordination
Who you are and what you bring 
  • Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of schematics, PCBs, and electronic circuit fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, testing, and using instruments (oscilloscopes, power meters).
  • Expertise in soldering and de-soldering (SMD & PTH components) across package types.
  • Knowledge of PCBA handling, passive components, and lab best practices (5S).
  • Experience in lab management, inventory tracking, and equipment maintenance/calibration.
  • Ability to support test setups, product assembly/disassembly, cable harnessing, and mechanical tools usage.
  • Good to have: 
IPC certification in PCB soldering; knowledge of transformer/inductor winding.
