Pipeline Coordinator
Description
As a Pipeline Coordinator you will have responsibility for the management of the day to day operations within the Pipeline department. You will assist Pipe Ops management in maintaining the standards and policing pipeline workflows. This role is an integral to the organisation and daily requirements of a large department within a global VFX company.
- Central liaison between show production and the Pipeline ops including: VFX Supes, CG Supes and Production
- Meeting management: Collating agendas, confirming show representation, minuting and following up action points
- Assisting in the creation of documentation such as show summary pages, project and technical solution documentation
- Gathering and communicating high level schedule / milestone data
- Gathering and communicating team schedule data
- Collating and publishing show status reports and escalating issues where necessary
- A trusted initial escalation point for shows with urgent requirements
- Support queues: Monitoring ticket queues for potential escalations and clean up, assisting pipe team with support criteria validation and communication
- Maintaining project plans and managing ticketing within JIRA
- Review and approval of project team timesheets
- Autonomous management of routine tasks and deadlines Shared responsibility for scheduling tasks under accountable managers
- Experience: 3 years show/games production (as Production Coordinator is ideal)
- Proactive with great communication skills
- Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office / Google workspace
- Diploma or equivalent education in a relatable field
- Aptitude for learning new software
- Experience in a Pipeline environment
- Proven negotiation skills in a production environment
- Experience writing reports and documentation in HTML / Wiki
- Experience with development task tracking in jira, or equivalent
- Experience with Production databases in shotgun, or equivalent
- Passionate about film
- Clear communicator of succinct and accurate information
- Organized, pro-active and a self-starter
- Calm under pressure and capable of delivering to short deadlines
- Adaptable to changing scenarios and showing initiative
- A positive, can-do attitude
