Capitol B is searching for its next Strategic Partnership Developer, responsible for driving growth across our agency portfolio. As the Strategic Partnership Developer, you’ll focus on identifying new partnership and business opportunities. . Primary duties include analyzing market conditions to pursue new growth opportunities, interacting with current and prospective clients, drafting contract documents, internally collaborating with team members to optimize existing business and networking within the industry.

- Pursue new agency business while managing and growing existing client relationships to achieve sales and profitability quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis while.
- Collaborate with Partner Success and Project Managers to ensure client expectations and deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Work alongside Partner Success Managers to identify new opportunities within existing relationships.
- Manage revenue forecasting in a CRM database and a project management platform.
- Collaborate with team to execute best in class needs analyses, scopes of work, proposals, presentations, and reporting – ultimately setting relationships and engagements up for long-term success.
- Work closely with internal and external team member to provide outstanding service presenting frequent optimization and upsell opportunities attuned to achieving client goals and expectations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or other similar focus from an accredited university
- Five or more years of experience with a proven track record of success in business development, sales, or fundraising.
- Significant business relationships and personal network of senior marketing and sales decision-makers with ability to activate network to encourage revenue growth and retention.
- Experience crafting and executing plans to land, upsell, and retain high-value projects.
- High capacity for leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills.
- Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience selling digital marketing or professional service solutions for digital agencies or digital consultancies, upselling and renewing long-term, Agency of Record (AOR)-type relationships.
