About The Trainee Program
The Holly Springs Salamanders are looking for motivated and dedicated trainees looking to begin or continue their careers in the sports industry. The trainee program is open to college students and recent college graduates. Trainee’s will be required to work all home games and some non-game day events and office requirements. This program is designed to showcase behind-the-scenes of working for a sports organization.

Marketing/Promotions Trainee
Timeline: May 7th – August 11th
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide the FUN & ENERGY in the ballpark.
- Coordinate and execute any stadium/concourse activations for theme nights; help get vendors into the ballpark, set-up, and tear-down.
- Execute pregame ceremonies and in-game activations.
- Be the main point of contact for booking mascot appearances.
- Collaborate with staff to come up with new ideas for in-game features and skits.
- Assist with execution of community appearances.
- Plan and execute grassroot marketing campaigns.
- Assist in managing and updating the team's social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
- Create and schedule engaging content, including game updates, behind-the-scenes footage, promotions, and community initiatives.
- Monitor social media trends and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Attend community events to promote the team and capture content.
- Utilize analytics tools to track social media performance and user engagement.
- Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and offer insights for improvement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation
- $10/hour
