The Durham Bulls are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to fill the digital media and video trainee position for the 2025 season. 
 
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  • Creating video & static graphics for the Durham Bulls, as well as other sports divisions including Coastal Plain League and Holly Springs Salamanders.
  • Game Day Program Production. 
  • Creation of video board content, email marketing graphics, print collateral, signage projects, social media graphics. 
  • Photo and video shoot concepts and production.
  • In-stadium graphics and managing graphic design requests for CPL teams and other departments within the Durham Bulls. 
Other Duties: 
  • Expected to work and assist all events held at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. 
  • Other general Front Office duties – including assisting with hiring events, special events, pulling tarp and other general duties involving working in a Minor League Front Office.  
  • Assist with creating team community relations initiatives, as well as the execution and promotion of such events. 
Required Qualifications:  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Adobe In Design, Photoshop 
  • Experience with graphic design, video post-production, and social media 
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment. 
  • People-oriented, able to multi-task, organized, motivated, and detail-focused. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible and adaptive to constructive feedback, ever-changing requests and be able to take direction and work under rapidly shifting deadlines. 
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Close vision and ability to differentiate colors to perform essential functions of the role.
  • Ability to use hands to type and perform essential functions of the role.

Pre-Employment Information:
  • Pay Rate: $10/hour.
  • Role will run from March 2025 – September 2025.
  • A pre-employment drug screening is required.
