Security Supervisor

Description

Primary Responsibilities:  
  • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of all facilities
  • Assist with emergency and crisis management response
  • Function as an investigative resource for security, human resources and compliance
  • Assist with guard force management
  • Develop, implement and maintain security processes and strategies to reduce financial and asset loss
  • Assist with executive protection and travel security
  • Coordinate and manage preventative programs and services to protect against business disruptions
  • Communicate status of security issues impacting local or regional processes
  • Develop collaborative relationships; provide expertise, technical guidance, and training to ensure effective security services
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications and Experience:  
  • University degree or above preferred
  • Former Military or Law Enforcement preferred.
  • PSP preferred or the willingness to become certified within the first 6 months
  • Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in a Security-related field, preferably with administrative and supervisory responsibility.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, highly motivated, forward thinking, and proactive.
