A New Drug Application for tenapanor for hyperphosphatemia has been approved in China with Fosun Pharma. Knight Therapeutics commercializes IBSRELA in Canada.
 
Position Summary:
 
The Audit & Monitoring Dashboard Intern will support the transformation of how the Audit & Monitoring team tracks, analyzes, and reports audit findings and monitoring observations. The department currently relies on spreadsheets and documents, which makes trend analysis and reporting time‑consuming. In this internship, you will design and build a centralized, visual reporting tool in Tableau to help the team identify recurring issues, track remediation efforts, and provide leadership with a clear, data‑driven view of the compliance landscape.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards to centralize audit and monitoring data.
  • Consolidate information from spreadsheets and documents into a structured, analysis‑ready format.
  • Create visualizations that highlight trends, recurring issues, and key compliance risk areas.
  • Build reports and views that help track remediation activities and their status over time.
  • Partner with Audit & Monitoring team members to understand reporting needs and translate them into dashboard requirements.
  • Validate data accuracy and ensure dashboards are reliable, user‑friendly, and easy to interpret.
  • Document data sources, dashboard logic, and reporting workflows for long‑term sustainability.

  • Clear visibility into compliance trends, recurring issues, and remediation progress.
  • Tools that help the Audit & Monitoring team identify where additional support or process improvements can create value for the broader business.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau (coursework, projects, or prior internships).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Comfort working with data in spreadsheets and other structured formats.
  • Ability to translate business questions into metrics, reports, and visualizations.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with basic data modeling, data cleaning, or ETL concepts.
  • Experience with Excel, SQL, or other data tools is a plus.
  • Interest in audit, compliance, or risk management.
