Position Summary:
The Director, IT Business Partner is responsible for leading technology strategy and delivery across corporate functions including Corporate Operations, Quality, Finance, HR, Legal, and other G&A areas. This role partners with executive stakeholders to ensure IT solutions enable operational excellence, scalability, and data-driven decision making across the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Corporate Operations, Quality Finance, HR, Legal, and corporate leadership to define and execute IT strategy aligned with business priorities
- Translate business needs into scalable enterprise solutions supporting corporate functions
- Lead prioritization and execution of IT initiatives across HRIS, financial systems, and corporate platforms
- Drive implementation and optimization of enterprise applications such as ERP, HRIS, and related systems
- Ensure alignment with compliance, security, and data governance requirements across corporate systems
- Manage implementation and enhancement of systems including CRM and patient services platforms
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Oversee vendor relationships, system implementations, and managed service providers
- Provide strategic guidance on digital transformation and process optimization initiatives
- Communicate technology roadmaps, risks, and investment priorities to executive stake holders
- Partner with the CIO to define a long-term enterprise technology strategy and roadmap, including modernization priorities, platform direction, and architectural guardrails
- Establish a pragmatic, scalable architecture operating model, including architecture review and decision forums, technology standards and reference architectures, solution design patterns and reuse, and data classification and security-by-design principles
- Partner with the extended IT Leadership and extended Teams
Please note: this position is hybrid-based out of our Waltham, MA office and requires a presence on-site 2-3 days per week.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field with 10+ years of progressive IT experience with strong support of corporate functions or equivalent experience
- Proven leadership experience in IT business partnering or enterprise systems roles
- Deep knowledge of HR, Finance, and corporate systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and SDLC processes
- Experience leading enterprise-wide system implementations and transformations
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Exhibit ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
- Proven ability to align IT strategy with business operations and drive measurable outcomes
