Description
Clearance Requirement: Public Trust
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments including host pools, session hosts, application groups, and FSLogix profiles.
- Automate deployments and operational tasks using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code tools to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Monitor performance, usage, and cost metrics to optimize resource allocation and enhance end-user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AVD-related issues (connectivity, latency, profile errors, application failures) with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Apply and manage security controls such as RBAC, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to ensure compliance and data protection.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues, demonstrating advanced troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Develop and maintain SOPs to guide Tier 1/2 support teams, ensuring clarity and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align tools, processes, and standards, promoting knowledge sharing and teamwork.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting to evolving technologies and business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
