ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Task Manager eligible for Secret Clearance in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense.       
    
As the Task Manager, you will plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. You will also be responsible for the management of the individual performance requirements associated with the contract.    
   
 Duties and Responsibilities      
  • Plans, initiates, and manages information technology projects.
  •  Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Perform independent thinking and difficult tasks along with supervising others.
Basic Qualifications:    
  • Bachelor's Degree required (Master’s preferred) in a technical field
  • Four (4) Years experience
  • Preferred Certificates: PMI, PMP or equivalent as approved by COR, ITIL 4 Foundation
