Description

Fluidra is seeking a Shipping Clerk who will be responsible for the daily shipping of finished products to our customers at our Taylor Water Technologies site in Sparks, MD.

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

  • Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment.
  • Palletize packages assigned to be shipped.
  • Load packages, pallets, and bundles on trailers.
  • Utilize scanning device/technology to perform package checks.
  • Consolidate and organize freight in common areas.
  • Create and update documents needed for shipping.
  • Created and updated commercial invoice documents and other internationally required documentation.
  • Manage all essential documents such as advanced shipping notices, pick slips, bills of lading, and export paperwork.
  • Collaborate with production, customer service, and supply chain to optimize processes.
  • Schedule trucks and pickups accordingly to meet the production schedule.
  • Meet delivery, quality, and cost targets.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements. 
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and company requirements.


WHAT WE SEEK

  • High School Education
  • Warehouse / Shipping experience preferred.
  • Hazmat and International shipping experience are highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Must lift 50-70 pounds; team lifts 100+ pounds.
  • Willingness and ability to drive a forklift after training.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Accountable and adaptable team player.

Expected hourly range is $18.00 – 20.00/ hour. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards/benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
