Fluidra’s looking for a Welder to join our team at our CPI Plant in Phoenix, AZ.

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

  • Perform manual assembly tasks, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35 lbs.

  • Operate hand tools, power tools, production line equipment, fixtures, measuring instruments, and other necessary machinery.

  • Perform repetitive manual operations such as fitting, aligning, calibrating, and adjusting parts to meet engineering specifications.
  • Prepare materials, set up and operate welding equipment, and inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Perform TIG welding and spot welding on a variety of parts, producing high-quality welds for manufacturing use.

  • Weld using Stainless Steel, Copper, and Aluminum materials, typically thin gauge sheet metal.

  • Set up and adjust TIG welding machines for various materials and thicknesses, demonstrating strong understanding of machine controls.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols as applicable.

  • Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify dimensions and maintain quality.

  • Support complex production runs and meet seasonal or high-volume demands in assigned work areas.

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  
  
· Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the entire shift.
· Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and plant rules.
· Promptly report any safety concerns or quality issues to the Lead or Supervisor.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.

WHAT WE SEEK

  • · High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
    · Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred.
    · Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
    · Experience welding stainless steel, copper, and aluminum sheet metal.
    · Strong understanding of TIG welding machine setup and operation.
    · Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
    · Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools.
    · Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
    · Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

 
EDUCATION

  • Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required.
