The Opportunity
We are actively looking for an Account Manager to joined the iContact team and be a strategic partner for our high-value clients. You’ll be the bridge between their business goals and our powerful marketing automation tools. Your mission is to drive retention, identify growth opportunities, and ensure our customers feel like VIPs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Strategic Consulting: Analyze client campaign metrics (open rates, CTRs, conversions) to provide actionable advice on deliverability and engagement.
- Retention & Renewals: Proactively manage the renewal process and identify "at-risk" accounts to prevent churn.
- Upselling & Expansion: Identify opportunities where advanced features (like automation or Salesforce integration) or higher-tier plans can help the client reach their KPIs.
- Product Expertise: Stay ahead of email marketing trends and become a power user of the iContact platform to conduct demos and training sessions.
- Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer, funneling feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to help shape our roadmap.
Job Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales (SaaS or Digital Marketing background preferred).
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus) and a solid understanding of how email marketing/HTML works.
- Communication Style: You can explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical marketing manager with ease and wit.
- Analytical Mindset: You enjoy digging into data to find the "why" behind a campaign’s performance.
- Resilience: You’re a problem-solver who stays cool under pressure when a client has a "marketing emergency."

Compensation Range
Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $82,000 OTE. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
