Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Associate assists the Envestnet Yodlee Accounting team with the day-to-day Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable activities within the Finance organization, ensuring the payment of all invoices and expense claims. This position is responsible for operational, administrative, and clerical activities aligned to the Finance function. The associate supports financial reporting accuracy through the maintenance of internal systems and adherence to financial reporting processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable responsibilities include:
    • Manage company’s incoming payments and ensure that invoices are collected promptly
    • Manage invoices and billings: Prepare invoices, match payments to invoices, research discrepancies
    • Track and collect payments: Process payments, refunds, and adjustments; follow up with customers on overdue payments
    • Maintain customer relationships: Respond to customer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve payment disputes
    • Run reports and assist with month-end closing 
  • Accounts Payable responsibilities include:
    • Process payments: Ensure bills and invoices are paid accurate and on time
    • Maintain records: Track payments, expenditures and historical records
    • Manage relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and other departments 
    • Provide support: Answer inquiries from vendors, contractors, and other departments
    • Issue 1099’s as applicable
    • Process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders
  • Other:
    • Assist with the preparation or review of SOX and substantive audit support as requested by the internal and external audit teams.
    • Assist in ad hoc projects in relation to month-end, quarter-end, or year-end processes and procedures.
  • Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.  
  • As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • Ability to execute in a dynamic and demanding environment by demonstrating organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure, highly detail oriented, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office software tools, excellent technology, analytical, and communication skills with emphasis on professional business writing skills
