The Role:

Xylem seeks to hire an Accounting Intern for the Xylem Lubbock, Texas facility. As a member of the Finance Team, the Accounting Intern is an educational enhancement role.  Candidate must have a basic understanding of accounting principles and practice.   

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:                      

  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Assist with audits and audit documentation.
  • Assist in tracking of projects and ensuring progression.
  • Assist with month end closing activities.
  • Assist finance team with various tasks as assigned by Finance Manager.

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

(Minimal education & experience, essential skills & abilities and required license/certification to perform this job.)

  • Enrolled in a Finance or Accounting degree at an accredited University.
  • Completed Intermediate Accounting Course
  • Must be knowledgeable in MS Office applications

  • Should have the ability to interface well with others and to direct, and take direction from others, as required.
