Product Owner: Control System Design and Electric Components

As a Product Owner of Control System Design and Electric Components within Monitor & Control – Intelligent Solutions, your main focus will be development and sustaining of products and systems for automatic control including the components and parts required for safe and reliable pump and mixer solutions – for example electrical cabinets, panels, starters and components for interconnection and power supply that may be external as well as integrated into our machines.
Any other monitor & control items, under development or in the existing assortment, may add to your ownership as you grow into your role and in alignment with your previous experience and future aspirations.

Your tasks will vary a lot in context, for example product development, sustaining and support. You will interact with several stakeholders – not only within R&D – but also marketing, support, operations, sourcing and suppliers.

The foundation for this journey is monitor & control, wherein control system design remains key and core.

Responsibilities

  • Technical product and component expertise
  • Conceptual design and maintenance of electrical cabinets, panels and starters.
  • Product development: requirements, certification and documentation.
  • Configuration and change management.
  • Value engineering.
  • Interaction in technical matters regarding operations and sourcing.
  • Assisting product support and training for commercial teams.

 

Qualifications

We look for a Product Owner with:

  • An Electrical Engineering degree focused on control system design and electrical CAD.
  • Extensive work experience as a technical Product Owner, Electrical cabinet/panel designer or similar roles.
  • Deep knowledge in LVD and standards applicable to automatic control.
  • Preferably additional expertise within EMC.
  • Any authorization for electrical installations will do you credit.

You are a high-performing and flexible team player who is keen to learn. Your pro-active personality leads you to identify tasks and act quickly upon them.

You work in a structured manner and have the ability to break down complex items and explain them in a way that is easy to understand.

You stand up for yourself, make decisions with integrity and keep calm in intense work situations. Social skill with a sense of humor will build trustful relationships and your Xylem network.

You are a good communicator who is fluent in Swedish and English – written and spoken.
