The Role: The IT Infrastructure Engineer role is a technical role supporting cloud and on-prem data center hosting. The individual in this role will collaborate with Information Technology members, hardware/software vendors, and our User community.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot all data center services, software, and cloud solutions
  • Migrate on-prem workloads to AWS and Azure
  • Configure and deploy physical/virtual servers and storage
  • Recommend and refresh/upgrade systems to ensure uptime
  • Maintain and support IT architecture standards for data center infrastructure
  • Ensure the infrastructure is properly monitored and alerts are addressed in a timely manner
  • Create/maintain/improve documentation and processes
  • Ability to understand technical requirements to resolve complex issues
  • Create/maintain/improve documentation and processes

Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

  • Bachelor degree or relative experience
  • 5+ years working with data center hardware and software
  • 5+ years working with Enterprise software that includes Microsoft, VMware, and CommVault
  • 5+ years working with Enterprise hardware that includes Dell, Cisco, and NetApp
  • Strong oral and written communications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
  • AWS, Azure, Hybrid Cloud experience not required but a major bonus! Office 365 experience is a PLUS
