Seeking a dependable and self-motivated Property Manager to join our team in the Brooksville, Florida area. This position will be responsible for everyday office duties such as taking applications, yearly and interim recertifications, collecting rent, handing out late notices, lease violations and filing evictions as necessary, unit inspections, grounds inspections, etc.
The ideal candidate will have previous property management or housing experience and be familiar with Rural Development. Must have excellent time management skills, and the ability to work well with tenants and co-workers.
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week).
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday.
Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous property management or housing experience.
- Knowledge and working experience of affordable housing programs.
- Proficient computer skills required (MS Excel, MS Word, Gmail, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effectively communicates with staff, residents, vendors and other individuals.
- Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment.
- Steady work history.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel for training.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
