We’re looking to hire a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Louisville, KY area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and grounds cleaning and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have previous apartment or property maintenance.

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week).

Work Schedule: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Monday-Friday).

Compensation: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience, plus monthly cell phone reimbursement.

Sign-on bonus of $500!

Qualifications/Requirements:

• At least five years of solid experience in property or apartment maintenance required.
• Knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.
• Basic computer skills.
• After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 
• Possess own basic hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

• Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
• Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
• Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
• Other related tasks, as assigned.
