We’re looking for a self-motivated and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and grounds cleaning and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have previous apartment or property maintenance. Must have basic experience of painting, plumbing and general repairs.
Property/Location: Indian Hills Village Apartments - 305 Bernal Ave, Hickman, KY 42050 (40 units).
Job Type: Part-Time/Day shift (30 hours per week).
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour, plus a one-time sign-on bonus of $250.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Two years of property, apartment or general maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electric, etc.
- Basic computer skills.
- After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb ladders.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
- Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
- Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
- Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
- Other related tasks, as assigned.
