Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

Medscape Education is the leading provider of online medical education for clinicians (medscape.org). The Revenue Manager plays a pivotal role in the Revenue Recognition ensuring all our projects are appropriately scheduled and provides insight and input into revenue forecasts. This position reports directly to VP, Business Operations and Revenue Management. Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify risks to delivery of “on budget” performance
  •  Partner with the business leads on division revenue results, highlighting risks and opportunities to achieving goals 
  • Collaborate with cross functional team leaders to monitor and coordinate the scheduling of project delivery
  • Manage a reporting analyst and one part-time associate
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Utilize project management platform to schedule projects
  • Complete other responsibilities, as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant(related) experience in Accounting/Finance
  • Five to eight years of revenue management experience
  • Proven direct managerial experience
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • High professionalism, ability to work independently, and easy rapport in building collaborative work relationships
  • Above average ability to use G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, etc) and Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint Online)
  • Experience with web-based project management tools (such as Workfront) a plus
