Description
Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

- Data Centralization & Research: Lead the discovery process to identify how various first- and third-party data sets can be harmonized into a single "source of truth" for reporting
- Discovery & Research: Lead the discovery process and market research regarding product and customer requirements.
- Problem Definition: Identify business user needs and define complex problems to develop creative solutions.
- Actionable Insights: Define the why of the products to explain the value and recommended actions that can be taken based on results.
- Strategic Vision: Consult with internal stakeholders to build out the strategic vision set forth by executive leadership.
- Forecasting: Collaborate with stakeholders to estimate sales and revenue.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product development life cycle for both new products and enhancements to existing products.
- Roadmap Management: Create, maintain, and manage the product road map.
- Operationalization: Take ownership of defining, operationalizing, and augmenting foundational and strategic capabilities.
- Technical Integration: Define all points of integration with first- and third-party systems and ensure stakeholders understand product specifications.
- Execution: Provide hands-on management to sold initiatives throughout their life cycle across pre-sale, post-sale execution, and renewal stages.
- Go-to-Market Support: Partner with marketing and business development functions to inform the go-to-market strategy.
- Product SME: Serve as subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
- Positioning: Assist with defining product positioning, target markets, and messaging of key product features.
- Performance Analysis: Define, monitor, and analyze product performance data to continually improve products and infrastructure.
Compensation: $140,000.00
Bonus Eligible: This position is also eligible for a discretionary company bonus, based upon business results.
