Torrid has a great opportunity for a Senior eCommerce Software Engineer who will build, design, and implement robust software solutions to support our eCommerce initiatives, merchandising goals and organizational objectives. The position provides advanced-level programming expertise for a variety of systems integration, tools development, software support and troubleshooting activities

What You'll Do:

  • Directly impact the user experience by developing new features using best practices in Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform development
  • Work with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC formerly Demandware) in conjunction with the internal UA teams and development partners to develop and implement new features
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver rich and sustainable experiences for Torrid's customers
  • Translate business/technical requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platforms
  • Research platform capabilities to identify opportunities as it relates to the eCommerce roadmap
  • Provide input for technical architecture, and design for features implemented on the eCommerce Platform, including performing code reviews and technical design reviews

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in web development (equivalent combination of experience and education accepted)
  • 2+ years of E-Commerce experience, including experience with some of the following systems: Content Management System, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management, Payment, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Order Management System, Fraud Management
  • Proven experience in multiple web technologies including JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, SQL
  • Proven experience in working and integrating with APIs and 3rd Party systems integrations (SOAP/REST)
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (Bitbucket/Git strategies, Unit Tests, build processes, etc.)
