Our internship program is designed to expose students and new grads to key aspects of the retail industry. You’ll be provided training, support and receive hands-on experience with challenging tasks that will provide you with meaningful, real-world experience to help build your resume and enter a career in omni-channel retail.
 
As the Apparel Product Development Intern, you will assist the Aparrel  Product Development team throughout the development process, coordinating with Product Development and Tech teams to ensure Merchant and Designer’s vision is achieved. 
 
What You'll Do:
  • Support department with administrative tasks
  • Track apparel samples and approvals according to calendar due dates
  • Communicate daily with cross functional departments - Design, Merchandising, Technical Design and with Product Development team co-workers and supervisors
  • Assist Sourcing Manager in day-to-day functions including accurate record keeping.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
  • Recent graduate or within 1 year of graduation with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Associates Degree from an accredited fashion/design college.   
  • Have strong communication and organization skills, initiative and follow-up skills
  • Able to handle multiple projects
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Able to work on-site in City of Industry, CA
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Must be available to work Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) for duration of internship program. Internship dates: June 2 – August 8

Pay rate: $20.00/hr
