Machine Operator
D2 Shift
Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am
Description 
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for ensuring the Material Handling Systems (MHE) and Retail Carton Erector run smoothly on a day-to-day basis by monitoring carton/tote movement and interacting with Carton/Tote flow when necessary.
 
WHAT YOU'LL DO: 
  • Monitor and safely interact with the material handling equipment with use of computer systems (CORS).
  • Operate and Monitor the Retail Carton Erector.
  • Communicate and assist with and Maintenance and Operations Staff.
  • Predict/React to Carton/Tote Flow and MHE Systems flow issues.
  • Adheres to all safety procedures, all Federal, State and OSHA guidelines.
  • Accomplish other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
  • Work well in a team environment.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:   
  • Satisfy initial and ongoing systems training necessary for success within the role. Training provided by Maintenance Supervisors/Mechanics
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum twelve (12) months related experience in a warehouse environment or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
  • Oral and written communications skills.
  • PC Skills: Microsoft office
  • Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, cope well with change, and maintain composure under pressure.

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and lift/move up to 10 pounds. May lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Climb, reach, push/pull. Climb ladders, access Maintenance Catwalks.
