Loss Prevention Agent
Description
- Monitor and protect the DC facility through proactive patrols, camera surveillance, and access control.
- Conduct thorough daily inspections of the building, including physical security checks, door integrity, and asset protection standards.
- Lead or assist in investigations related to theft, policy violations, or safety concerns, maintaining strict confidentiality and documentation practices.
- Execute accurate audits related to merchandise, shipping/receiving discrepancies, and physical inventory counts.
- Enforce bag check, visitor sign-in, and non-compliance procedures consistently and professionally.
- Maintain a strong, visible presence at DC access points, offering a professional and welcoming experience for visitors, vendors, and associates.
- Document trailers as they enter the property, including photos and logging.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with DC leadership and associates regarding risks, findings, or incidents.
- Support and monitor adherence to all LP and safety-related protocols, escalating concerns as needed.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of access control systems and security technologies.
- Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and safety throughout the facility.
- High School Diploma or GED required, relevant certifications a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of Loss Prevention, Security, or investigative experience—preferably in a distribution, warehouse, or retail environment.
- Strong observational and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess behavior and identify red flags.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage confidently with all levels of leadership.
- Ability to work independently, follow protocol, and remain calm under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning security and audit software systems.
