What You’ll Do:
  • Develop and execute retail operation strategies to drive store performance.
  • Review current retail processes, identifying areas of improvement and evolving the vision.
  • Responsible for the retail operating model, driving retail operations excellence and standards across all markets.
  • Review daily metrics and reporting for all stores and ensure corrective action to remedy issues and deficiencies.
  • Set clear goals and expectations and provide guidance to ensure the successful execution and testing of retail initiatives.
  • Ensure KPI’s are set and help achieve Torrid’s overall company targets.
  • Develop audit procedures, enforce proper tracking & reporting activity.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with other departments (such as marketing, sales, business analytics, finance) to align retail initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Create and oversee the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP), internal processes, and compliance training for Torrid’s retail stores.
  • Review and ensure all communication to Retail Stores is clear, concise, accurate and timely.
  • Lead and participate in preparation for new store openings, supporting the expansion into new markets.
  • Portfolio manager for all retail-driven initiatives that impact corporate transitional and analytical systems.
  • Define/validate architecture for overall solutions, focused on integration points and data needs across platforms, analytics, and financials.
  • Lead and participate in the implementation of updating or installation of new retail store programs and equipment.
  • Ensure company retail software systems are properly used and audited and evaluate new tools.
  • Participate in all capital improvement projects as needed by the construction team.
  • Lead a team of Managers and oversee their growth and career development.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned.  
 
What You’ll Need:
  • 8+ years of experience in store operations or a related field, or a combination thereof.
  • 7+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using data to identify insights that drive action.
  • Proven ability to consult, partner, and influence leaders across the organization.
  • Effective communication, problem solving, and critical thinking skills applied at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong team player that is willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, while thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with all levels of management.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, and managers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing work environment with many competing priorities.
  • Develop and drive accountability for self and others.
  • Strong customer/client focus with the ability to provide a superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrates professional maturity that represents the organization’s image.
  • Minimal travel required

Salary: $166,936 – $210,390 / year
