Associate Photo Shoot Producer
Description
- Schedule in-house teams (stylists, art directors, photographers, video crew) and coordinate with the sample team to ensure shoot deadlines are met.
- Hire and manage freelance talent (models, hair/makeup artists, stylists) for e-commerce.
- Oversee logistics, studio operations, and equipment, including Capex requests and purchases.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and handle invoicing between Accounts Payable and the photo shoot team.
- Lead vendor system processes, set up new freelancers/agencies for payment.
- Own the e-commerce and campaign calendars, ensuring coordination across departments.
- Negotiate rates and book key talent (photographers, stylists, models, etc.) within budget.
- Cultivate relationships with external agencies, vendors, and creatives, scouting new talent.
- Organize model castings and coordinate travel for shoots.
- Collaborate with styling and art teams to ensure shoots align with brand guidelines.
- Communicate shoot details clearly to all team members and stakeholders.
- Work with Senior Creative Production Manager on pre-production and on-site coordination for shoots.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve photo shoot workflows for efficiency.
- Assist with video post-production logistics and special projects across departments.
- Perform administrative duties and adapt as needed to ensure smooth shoot execution.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing or related fields.
- Relevant Marketing or photo shoot experience.
- Passionate about photo shoot production and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of fashion/retail.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Passion for fashion and an understanding of Torrid’s brand and customer.
- Willingness to travel as needed (locally and out of state).
