We’re hiring a Director of Human Resources to support our colleagues, leadership team, and our compliance efforts as we continue to grow.

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate HR leader who’s hungry to grow with our company. Reporting into our Head of People, you’ll help us adopt HR best practices related to workforce compensation, compliance, development, and management as we head into our next phase of hyper-growth.

You Will:

  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
  • Develop HR strategies and administer policies and procedures
  • Consult with leadership and administers programs related to the development of a positive organizational culture and morale
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Advise leadership on disciplinary matters, disputes and when necessary, conducts investigations
  • Supervise and administer compensation, benefits, and leave, including maintaining employee records in appropriate systems and ensures confidentiality
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
  • Manage the performance review process, ensure alignment with our organizational values, goals and objectives
  • Conduct exit interviews for departing employees and collect data to better understand themes

You Have:

  • 7-10+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience
  • Prior people management experience: this role will have a generalist and coordinator as a direct report
  • Data aptitude, your business recommendations are based on solid quantitative analysis
  • Knowledge of related government rules and regulations, including FMLA and other applicable Labor laws and regulations; works with People team to ensure necessary compliance
  • Strong HR technical skills with the ability to balance tactical and strategic responsibilities
  • Experience with Sequoia and ADP is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
