Job Title: Procurement Analyst (Remote, Pacific Northwest US)

Pay Range: $59,326.00-$85,429.00

What you’ll be working on:

This position supports Savers vision of fulfilling business requirements including providing functional expertise and responsibilities for the company’s procurement to pay project.  

Serves as the subject matter expert, advocate, and relationship manager with team members on companywide initiatives, escalations, continuous improvement, and other project and task designated by management as it relates to the procurement to pay project.  This position will be responsible for vendor management, running analytics on spend volumes and issuing scorecards by department for critical Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This position reports to the Senior Manager, Procurement Operations.

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

  • Vendor management and administration in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (AX)
    • Onboard vendors and maintain vendor information
    • Perform control checks prior to onboarding a vendor
    • Manage the vendor onboarding and qualification process with the support of legal and the Category Manager
    • Manage the Vendor Setup Inbox

 

  • Conduct Request for: Proposal (RFP), Quote (RFQ), and Information (RFI) activities
    • Facilitate relevant request type
    • Analyze vendor responses and present go-forward vendor recommendation
    • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with vendor

 

  • Support customers, vendors, and Office Team Members in following the Savers P2P (Procure to Pay) process
    • Review purchase requisition forms and provide timely and well-mannered help as needed
    • Serve as the subject matter expert as it relates to the P2P (Procure to Pay) Process
    • Monitor and develop training materials and documentation
    • Co-Manage the Procurement email box
    • Assist Team Members and Stores on trouble shooting issues related to the ERP system
    • Pull and distribute monthly Blanket Purchase Agreement reports for Team Members

 

  • Reporting & Process Improvement
    • Ongoing evaluation of systems capabilities for further optimization
    • Ensure business systems and IT teams are aligned strategically and operationally to achieve business objectives on time and within budget
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPI's) and operating metrics established under the procurement to pay project

 

 

What you have:

  • Understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, and practices
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamic
  • Experience using procurement systems tools
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and general ledgers
  • Demonstrated affinity towards the use of technology and tools
  • Demonstrated math and analytical skills
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and obtain a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at all levels throughout the organization
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Demonstrated initiative to facilitate, coach, train and effectively communicate with business partners
  • Flexible, self-starter, motivated and proactive individual with the ability to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities
  • Ability to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers and vendors
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook


Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting preferred or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • 5+ years of experience in Procurement Operations and strategic sourcing
  • Prefer 3+ years of experience in a retail, procurement, manufacturing or logistics environment
