What you’ll be working on:
    
  • The GreenDrop Floating Site Attendant role is critical to our success and helps to ensure that we reach our goal of maintaining hours of operation as well as providing exceptional service to our donors every day. As donors arrive, you will create a welcoming experience by greeting each donor, unloading the donations from their vehicles, ensuring their donations are properly recorded for their receipts, and thanking them for their donation.
  • In addition you will play a complimentary role to support donor locations cleanouts, while driving to our locations to load/unload from truck to Sea Container/trailer. 
    A Floating Site Attendant’s location will vary from day to day. The “Floater” can perform the essential job functions of the Site Attendant at more than one location.
  • Days of Operation: Monday - Sunday
  • Working Hours: 9:30am - 5:30pm
Essential Job Functions:    
•    Act as a floater and cover shifts within designated district. 
•    Ability to drive a box truck to scheduled locations to load donations, and unload to dedicated yard multiple days a week. 
•    Promptly open the location each assigned day and prepare site for business
•    Independently interact with donors with a positive attitude
•    Acquire donations from donors and engage in pleasant conversation
•    Assist donors with their donations and help to unload their vehicles
•    Record details, and organize the collection site to achieve maximum efficiency
•    Maintain overall cleanliness and safety standards of the site
•    Perform all opening and closing procedures
•    Other duties assigned by manager


This includes but is not limited to the following:    
  • Always greet donors in a friendly manner, in full GreenDrop uniform.
  • Engage in pleasant conversation while acquiring donations from donors by utilizing the bin.
  • Assist donors with their donations and help to unload their vehicles.
  • Wear a tablet holder while recording donor information on the company iPad.
  • Assist truck driver during donation pick-ups.
  • Organize donations in the stock room.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the site, both inside and outside.
  • Fill out supply orders to keep the site stocked with the necessary tools for job completion.
  • Other duties assigned by the manager.
  • Must be able to be on-site during working hours.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

  • •    A clean MVR with a valid DL. 
    •    Reliable transportation and commitment to attendance and punctuality
    •    The capacity to adjust your work functions throughout your day/week 
    •    Service-oriented with an outstanding ability to interact with people 
    •    Excellent verbal communication skills
    •    Honesty and integrity
    •    Ability to lift 50lbs continuously throughout the day
    •    Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the day
    •    Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions
    •    Willingness and ability to work weekend days as a regular part of the position schedule
    •    Ability to work independently without continuous supervision

Minimum Age Requirements:     
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
