The Role:
 
You will sell our range of high value moderation and intelligence products to global trust & safety leaders, helping them keep the world safe from predators, scaled abuse, mis/disinformation, illegal activity and much more.
 
The Account Executive is responsible for generating and running strategic sales opportunities within the Platform T&S division. Key drivers within the role are to manage a pipeline of business and coordinate with various departments and internal stakeholders, including Product Managers, Marketing and Customer Success. Managing a new opportunity from initial discovery to closing of new business and building those relationships ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Driving the team to deliver against sales development / lead generation targets
  • Generation of key relationships across T&S landscape to generate strong sales pipeline
  • Consistently meeting personal monthly quota for MQLs
  • Developing inbound and outbound qualified marketing leads
  • Encourages real, transparent conversations with customers about their needs and challenges and how our product will be used to help solve those issues
  • Collects customer stories and relays them to stakeholders and prospective customers in order to build and produce a better sale
  • Articulates our value proposition via outbound telephone engagements, email and other platforms (social media, networking)
  • Acts as market facing view in driving product development, thought leadership and regular intelligence outputs from marketing team
  • Coaches of junior sales resources and account managers in wider aspects of enterprise sales
  • Develops and maintains relationships in wider Kroll business to drive further growth and collaboration
  • Captures and documents data using Salesforce and completes required fields for leads and early state opportunities
 
 
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
 
  • Ability to apply understanding of the domain; understanding of roles within the domain as well as challenges and opportunities.
  • To understand the features and functions of our services; includes ability to apply from an individual (user experience), customer (business context) and industry (domain) perspective.
  • Maintain clean and up-to-data that includes relevant information (i.e., customer information, close dates, etc.) in order to facilitate strong predictive performance. Ability to leverage reporting in order to achieve results.
  • Score opportunities based on strength of fits, needs, access to decision makers, strength of champion etc. to prioritize highest value activities and opportunities.
  • Proactively build pipeline in a territory based on networking and referrals. Includes delivery of existing territory plan to proactive networking
  • Ability to consult with the customer to develop solutions to defined pain points. Identifies, defines and manages the objectives of a business. Must be able to specify requirements from both a business and user perspective to enable agreed changes to be implemented effectively.
  • Leverage exceptional written communication to present information in a compelling, informative and concise manner for diverse audiences.
  • Effective content includes information from multiple sources including research, competitive analyses and stakeholder interviews.
  • Ability to craft well-argued RFP, RFQ and RFI responses.
  • Ability to analyze data and/or metrics of varying volume, velocity, or complexity in order to achieve a positive result. Uses business intelligence and is able to communicate insights in order to bring actionable data to the business.
  • Ability to effectively negotiate price, timing, and contractual arrangements. Demonstrates strong financial acumen, good knowledge of terms of services and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a technology field is preferred
 
Essential skills and competencies:
 
  • Ideally you will come from a Trust & Safety background and already have relationships in the TAS space.
