Sr. Commvault Backup Administrator (Contractor)

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage Commvault backup infrastructure for large corporate environments.
Configure and manage Commvault backups to local storage and AWS Glacier.
Perform backups of physical servers, virtual machines, and network-attached storage (NAS).
Conduct in-depth backup audits to ensure completeness, integrity and compliance.
Manage and execute backups for Office365 and Salesforce using Commvault.
Monitor backup operations and troubleshoot any issues to ensure successful data protection.
Develop and maintain documentation for backup processes and procedures.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure backup strategies align with business needs.
Ability to automate backup audits to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

Extensive experience in setting up and managing backup infrastructure using Commvault.
Proven track record of managing backups for large environments.
Proficiency in configuring backups to local storage and AWS Glacier.
Experience in backing up physical servers, virtual machines, and NAS.
Strong capability to perform and automate in-depth backup audits.
Hands-on experience with Office365 and Salesforce backups using Commvault.
Familiarity with Veeam backup solutions is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications in Commvault and/or Veeam are desirable.
