Senior Device Engineer
Description
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of world-class high-voltage power devices and analog/mixed signal process technologies in a fabless environment
- Perform static and dynamic characterization of high-voltage Silicon & WBG power devices
- Analyze characterization data using statistical data analysis tools
- Prepare detailed characterization reports and power device datasheets
- Assist with reliability qualification tasks as part of new technology release
- Perform device/process simulations and device layout as part of new technology development
Requirements
- Applicant should have BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in semiconductor device and technology development
- Hands-on experience with wafer/package level device characterization in the lab is a must
- Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
- Experience with circuit simulation, TCAD & CAD tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Power Integrations is committed to building teams that drive innovation and therefore review a range of factors when determining compensation. The annual base pay range for this position is $85,000- $120,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, qualifications and work location.
The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position in California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
