Senior Corporate Accounting Manager

 

 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Senior Corporate Accounting Manager to join us fully onsite at our Corporate office in Greeley, CO.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Close & Reporting
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for a global company
    • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and variance analyses
    • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX requirements and implement standard changes as applicable
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
    • Delegate tasks and review work for accuracy and timeliness
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Implement and enhance accounting policies, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives
    • Coordinate internal and external audits, including SOX testing
    • Support budgeting and ad hoc financial analysis
    • Other reasonable duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA preferred
  • Experience
    • 6-8 years accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
    • Prior experience in a publicly traded company or public accounting firm strongly preferred
    • Experience working with international subsidiaries preferred
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP S4/HANA) and advanced Excel skills
    • Familiarity with SOX compliance, internal control frameworks, and IFRS reporting a plus
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong leadership, effective communication, time management, and organizational skills
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
    • Excellent attention to detail – demonstrated ability to review detailed financial statements with a high level of accuracy

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $115,000-$140,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
