Senior Brand Manager

 

 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are seeking a strategic & execution-focused Senior Brand Manager to join our team at Pilgrim’s! The Senior Brand Manager would have ownership and responsibility for building four exciting brands in a highly entrepreneurial environment. This role will drive brand planning, integrated communications, and innovation initiatives and is pivotal in shaping the brand’s long-term vision and short-term execution across multiple channels and teams.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Brand Stewardship
    • Serve as a key contributor to the 3-Year Plan (3YP) and 1-Year Plan (1YP).
    • Lead quarterly marketing planning, execution, and optimization.
    • Steward brand fundamentals and visual identity across all communications.

 

  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    • Act as the lead point of contact for Integrated Agency Teams (IAT).
    • Partner closely with Club and Retail Sales teams to align marketing efforts.
    • Lead quarterly content strategy and development oversight.
    • Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

 

  • Consumer Insights & Communications
    • Partner with Insights to lead research on consumer targeting, marketing, product optimization, product development and brand-building initiatives.
    • Lead Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) planning and execution across a wide array of tactics, including media/digital, content, PR initiatives and events.

 

  • Innovation & Product Development
    • Oversee short-term and mid-term innovation and commercialization efforts.
    • Lead product renovation initiatives to enhance brand relevance and performance.
    • Identify and build alignment around opportunities for new and improved products based on consumer insights or category developments.

 

  • Budget & Performance Management
    • Tracks performance and KPI’s, adjusting plans as needed Own the annual marketing budget and Statements of Work (SOWs).
    • Responsible for budgeting, leading monthly spend and utilization evaluations and providing strategic recommendations.
    • Own marketing/media reporting and develop action plans based on performance insights.

 

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A) in Brand Marketing field and 7+ years of related experience in CPG; required. MBA in Marketing, or related field, preferred.
  • Experience leading and overseeing a budget for a brand and/or portfolio of brands and communicating budget updates in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience working with syndicated data and guiding others in how to utilize it to develop fact-based presentations
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, required.
  • Understanding of brand management disciplines, key marketing strategies, media and selling dynamics.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and produce high quality and quantity outputs that adds value to the company.
  • Proven experience in brand marketing, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong understanding of integrated communications and consumer insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ambitious self-starter with a can-do attitude., who loves to work in a fast-paced environment.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $135,000 - $155,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
