The PENTA Building Group is seeking Senior Project Managers to join our team in Las Vegas, NV!

The Sr. Project Manager is accountable for the successful completion of the projects they are assigned to, working hand in hand with the Superintendent. The position entails oversight of the Project Engineers on the team and managing the contractual relationship between the subcontractors and PENTA. 



To perform this role successfully, the ideal candidate will:

  • Partner with the Superintendent and Safety Manager to lead the project through OSHA compliance and the Company’s Safety policies and procedures, supporting the Safety Program.
  • Lead the PENTA team in communication with the Owner and develop a strong professional relationship.
  • Develop and tailor project specific responsibilities for the project team.
  • Run OAC meetings and project team meetings.
  • Actively mentor Project Managers and Project Engineers.
  • Conduct Annual Performance Reviews.
  • Lead Project Buyout and Subcontract issuance and negotiations.
  • Consolidate the contract estimate into the budget. Develop the schedule of values.
  • Monitor and update cost reports. Work with the Owner and project team to keep the project within budget.
  • Identify changes in scope. Develop the PCO log, communicate changes with Owner, and provide direction / process of project change orders.
  • Manage the Project Engineers to ensure RFIs, Submittals, and Procurement items are processed in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Contract Administrator to review subcontractor pay applications and process monthly Owner Billings.
  • Ensure Subcontract compliance with all necessary reporting items including Prequalification, Safety Report, Insurance, etc. Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance is maintained.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of construction project management experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years working on large commercial hospitality projects.
  • The ability to work efficiently on fast-paced construction projects with accelerated schedules.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to embrace new technology and tools in the industry.
  • The ability to lead and the desire to teach and mentor Project Engineers and Field employees.
