The PENTA Building Group is seeking HCAI / OSHPD Superintendents to join our team in Los Angeles County & Orange County!

A PENTA HCAI / OSHPD Superintendent is responsible for the effective management of all field operations on the project, and, in conjunction with the Project Manager, assumes overall responsibility and accountability for all factors contributing to the success of the project. 


At PENTA, an HCAI / OSHPD Superintendent is responsible for:
 

  • Efficient management of field operations, including the creation of a project environment that allows the assistant Superintendent and Foremen to complete their jobs effectively.
  • Possessing the communication skills and knowledge required to deal with Owners and/or Owner’s representatives in a professional manner.
  • Possessing the ability to direct others through clear and accurate communication of the project schedules.
  • Identifying Project Superintendent prospects from within the company (or outside if required) and developing those individuals through mentoring and by example.
  • Providing the Owner with the best possible product for their investment.
  • Working with the Field Operations Manager to establish a comprehensive site logistics plan based on different phases of the project.
  • Taking the lead with the Safety Director and/or Safety Manager to establish, implement, and ensure full compliance with JSSP.
  • Creating and updating weekly three-week look-ahead schedules that closely detail actual project specifics.
  • Maintaining familiarity with all relevant OSHA regulations and continually monitoring job site safety to ensure compliance with JSSP.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing the project Fire/Life Safety schedule.
  • Conducting subcontractor performance reviews according to PENTA standard operating procedures.

  

We trust that you have: 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of verifiable HCAI/OSHPD experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the role of Superintendent on large commercial projects.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to embrace new technology and tools in the industry.
  • Ability to lead and the desire to teach and mentor Project Engineers and Field employees.
  • Salary DOE $90,000 - $140,000


The PENTA Building Group maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs, and market demands. The pay range may differ in other locations. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors and is in good faith and/or offer for this position. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
