The Job at a Glance

The Product Data Analyst is an entry-level position that will be responsible for the collection, creation and maintenance of an industry leading product data repository that helps drive a self-service customer experience on our websites and mobile apps. You will use tools and technologies to efficiently gather, cleanse and load product content including manuals, models and BoM data, categorization of products and equipment, and other relevant product information. The data you collect will help drive on-site searchability and improve our SEO positioning.

 

A Typical Day

  • Collects and updates manufacturer’s models and associated model information such as manuals, images, and BoM data
  • Categorizes Products and Equipment into relevant taxonomy categories
  • Gathers product classification attributes to improve website refinements
  • Optimizes short product descriptions to improve on-site searchability and SEO relevance
  • Builds and audits microsite equipment and product catalogs catered toward strategic customer accounts
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturer Partnership team to ensure data and branding reflect manufacturer and supplier’s vision
  • Analyze data daily regarding product attributes that affect descriptions, images, specifications/features, and product replacement or obsolescence
  • Utilize numerous Ecommerce tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mirakl, Hybris, Pimberly and more to improve the customer’s digital buying experience

 

To Land This Opportunity

  • Experience with product master data management
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Basic knowledge or strong desire to learn and utilize Python and SQL
  • Experience with Ecommerce platform’s back office or PIM system
  • Strong analytical skills
  • You’re an all-star communicator and are fluent in English (both written and verbal)
