The Job at a Glance
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key part in driving growth and impact, contributing not just to one division but to the success of the organization as a whole. We’re looking for a strategically driven team player who is excited to work across our business to align our payroll policy and procedure. The Payroll Specialist will work on preparation of required payroll reports and filings. This fast-paced role will provide a challenging opportunity for the right person who strives in ambiguity while making process improvements to our current payroll process. Does Payday make you smile? A Typical Day
- Partner Process bi-weekly/weekly payrolls.
- Provide support for complex payroll issues performing root cause analysis & solutions.
- Ensure the correct processing of earnings, deductions, benefits, reimbursements, tax and garnishments.
- Work closely with the financial team to ensure proper posting for salary, and other payroll expenses.
- Partner with branches and team members to deliver an exceptional employee payroll experience.
- Process accurate Quarter End & Year End including W2 reconciliation.
- Ensure prompt and efficient responses while working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Participate in cross-training across all payroll functions and assist with payroll-related projects.
- Continue learning & growing while participating in process improvement as a key partner in a COE environment.
To Land This Opportunity
- You have 3+ years of running complex payroll cycles, payroll certifications are a plus.
- You’re an Excel guru and love working within HRIS systems such as Dayforce Ceridian
- You thrive when given multiple projects and are a prioritizing expert.
- You demonstrate the capacity to adapt to change in a fast-paced atmosphere and have managed multiple payroll processing schedules.
- You have experience with multiple state payroll laws and know when& where to check just to be sure.
- You have fantastic communication skills & you’re proficient in English (verbal and written)
- You have a quality, high-speed internet connection at home.
About Your Future Team

The salary range for this role is $54,942.62 to $74,147.11 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
