AutoPlanet Brampton is currently seeking a Presales Manager to join their dynamic team in Brampton.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Managing and training staff to reply to internet leads and convert them into appointments.
- Work in strict compliance with the requirements and regulations of the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council (OMVIC).
- Work in strict compliance with the Laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada including, but not limited to, the Employment Standards Act (ESA), the Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA) and the Accessibilities for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
- Report performance goals and achievements on a regular basis.
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all Presales staff.
- Regularly evaluate employee performance and provide periodic feedback.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Handle all customer complaints on a timely basis.
- Establish daily/weekly/monthly goals for Presales staff to generate business.
- Complete necessary certification tests.
- Study used vehicle inventory on a weekly basis and learn pertinent dealership processes.
- Follow the policies and procedures of the Presales department.
- Following up with customers via telephone or email about their experience with the dealership, either sold or unsold clients and reporting back to the General Manager.
- Ensuring Google review ratings are up to date.
- Ensuring Customer Satisfaction Index’s are at a level satisfactory with the General
- Manager and manufacturer for both service and sales.
- Dealing with any potential poor surveys with clients, understanding what went wrong and how the dealership can assist with fixing them moving forward.
- Completing Daily Traffic log systems and sending morning reminders to the General Manager.
- Ensuring vehicle descriptions are accurate on Auto-Trader.
- Assisting the sales floor with deliveries when requested.
- Uphold all rules and procedures - support enforcement, including disciplinary action as necessary.
- Other duties as required by management.
What you need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- 2-3 years of Automotive Sales Experience preferred.
- OMVIC Certification is required.
- Dealer CRM system experience is required.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
- Strong computer skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible under changing conditions.
- Ability to exhibit professionalism with a positive attitude under pressure.
- Well-spoken, friendly and articulate.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Must be willing to be flexible with work schedules.
