Performance Collision Brampton is looking for a 310B Licensed Automotive Technician to join their high- volume shop.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:

  • Project a positive attitude for the benefit of our customers and our junior employees.

  • Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards using manufacturer repair instructions when ever available (ask production manager for them before work starts.

  • Immediately notifies Body Shop Advisor when additional work is needed.

  • Examine all vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

  • Perform all work as outlined on the front of the repair order and as authorized on the back, with efficiency and accuracy, and in accordance with company and factory standards.

  • Supervise work of all apprentice technicians or students; report immediately any deficiencies to the Production Manager.

  • Attend factory-sponsored training classes as scheduled by management.

  • Attend dealer-specified training courses as scheduled by management.

  • Keep abreast of all factory technical bulletins.

  • Learn and understand all current and emerging technologies as they apply to automobile service.

  • Other duties as required by management.

What you need to succeed:

  • Body Shop Technician, fully licensed (310B) is required.

  • 3-5 years experience with auto body repairs is required. 

  • Experience with Insurance Collision Repair and Pre-owned reconditioning work.

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

  • Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record. 

  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and succeed.

  • Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude.

  • Ability to work overtime when required.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
 
Compensation (expected flat hourly rate): $25.00 per hour under our skilled trades flat-rate (piece work) compensation plan.
 
Expected annual earnings: $80,000 - 130,000 per year, based on historical earnings at this location and typical productivity; actual earnings vary based on individual output and service department repair order volumes.
