Position Overview

The SEQ Systems Manager fulfills the following roles within the Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems:

  • OSHA Management Representative
  • ISO-14000 Management Representative
  • IATF-16949 Management Representative

 

Main Responsibilities

The SEQ Systems Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • OSHA Management Representative
    • Maintenance of OSHA 300 Log
    • Adherence to OSHA reporting requirements.
    • Development and maintenance of required procedures

Note, the WDM team and outside consultants will be utilized to develop and evolve procedures.

  • Establishment of Document Control process and identification of WDM team maintenance issues.
  • Development of training calendar and execution of training.  Note, the WDM team and outside consultants will be utilized to develop and provide training.
  • Development of LPA calendar and execution calendar.  Note, the WDM Leadership Team is responsible for ensure the LPA’s are completed.
  • Support accident investigations.
  • Support development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support development of continuous improvement efforts.

 

  • ISO-14000 Management Representative
    • Development and maintenance of required procedures. 

Note, the WDM team and outside consultants will be utilized to develop and evolve procedures.

  • Establishment of Document Control process and identification of WDM team maintenance issues.
  • Development of training calendar and execution of training. 

Note 1:  the WDM team and outside consultants will be utilized to develop and provide training.

  • Development of LPA calendar and execution of calendar, in conjunction with the Quality Manager. 

Note 1: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible developing the LPA forms.

Note 2: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring the LPA’s are completed.

  • Development of Internal Audit calendar and execution calendar, in conjunction with the Quality Manager. 

Note 1: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible developing the Internal Audit forms.

Note 2: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring the Internal Audit are completed.

  • Management of external audit schedule and coordination with Registrar and assigned auditor. 
  • Support development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support development of continuous improvement efforts.

 

 

 

 

  • IATF-16949 Management Representative
    • Development and maintenance of required leadership procedures, in conjunction with the VP of Manufacturing and the Quality Manager. 
    • Establishment of Document Control process and identification of WDM team maintenance issues.
    • Development of LPA calendar and execution of calendar, in conjunction with the Quality Manager. 

Note 1: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible developing the LPA forms.

Note 2: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring the LPA’s are completed.

  • Development of Internal Audit calendar and execution calendar, in conjunction with the Quality Manager. 

Note 1: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible developing the Internal Audit forms.

Note 2: the WDM Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring the Internal Audit are completed.

  • Management of external audit schedule and coordination with Registrar and assigned auditor. 
  • Support development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Support development of continuous improvement efforts.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with OSHA systems (e.g. OHSA -30 hour, ISO45001)
  • Experience with Environmental systems (e.g. ISO-14000 and EPA)
  • Experience with Quality systems (e.g. ISO-9000 and IATF-16949)
  • +5 years of manufacturing experience
  • +5 years of automotive experience

 

  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the ability to drive safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Carry out risk assessments and accident investigations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
