SENIOR MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Position Overview
Optimas Solutions, a leading manufacturer/distributor specializing in industrial fasteners and supply chain solutions, is looking for a dynamic, creative and results-driven Senior Marketing and Communications Manager. In this role, the ideal person will lead agency and internal teams to plan and execute marketing and internal communication programs that fuel the Optimas Americas teammates for success. Key to this effort is executing content/social marketing programs, integrated campaigns and organizational communications tactics that influence buying behavior and teammate engagement.
Deep, hands-on knowledge of HubSpot inbound CRM, WordPress and the ability to collaborate across the organization to deliver effective content/assets/programs are must-have abilities.
Responsibilities
Content Marketing
- Develop compelling content/social/PR strategies/campaigns, with agency partners, that engage audiences through all stages of the buyer’s journey and position Optimas as a potential supply chain partner.
- Conceptualize programs/assets, share knowledge and arrange access to subject matter experts, edit content and oversee calendar/development/publishing of high-quality blogs, press releases, articles, white papers, videos/podcasts, case studies, presentations, surveys, email, web copy and more.
- Manage all content distribution through company HubSpot and digital channels/social platforms with industry best practices to increase market presence and audience interaction.
- Measure and improve program/lead funnel performance; create dashboards/reports with HubSpot, Google Analytics and social media analytic tools.
Integrated Marketing
- Develop and lead the execution of campaigns, programs and partnerships that lead to marketing qualified leads, new customer acquisition and market penetration gains.
- Deploy a mix of integrated, inbound and outbound tactics, including email, paid media, PR, social media, webinars, prospecting, trade shows, events and more.
- Encourage the use of new content formats/channels through experimentation and measurement, including championing increased data visualization.
Sales Enablement
- Design and deliver insight and tools that enable new business development and account management teams to successfully prospect, engage and win business.
Corporate Communications
- Plan and implement organizational communication strategies that deliver unified, consistent, and positive messages to internal and external audiences.
- Identify and promote opportunities that positively represent the organization via digital, print and live channels.
Leadership
- Work closely with senior leaders, sales and human resource teammates, marketing partners and others to create effective strategies that consistently communicate with segmented audiences.
- Ensure deliverables balance audience needs with solution messaging, use best marketing practices and are on brand/time/budget.
- Set direction, prioritize projects and manage budget to align with fluid market environment.
- Other duties needed to help accomplish the company’s goals.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
- 8+ years of B2B experience with inbound marketing, integrated lead generation, digital marketing, solution selling and organizational communication
- Working experience planning and executing trade show presence and live events
- Proven track record generating/nurturing leads through funnel and guiding organization behavior
- Strong ability to quickly build a genuine rapport with partners and stakeholders
- Exceptional written, graphic and verbal communication skills
- High energy, capacity, integrity, self-motivated, results-driven
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing and/or distribution industry preferred
Technical Experience
- Expert, working knowledge of HubSpot marketing automation and CRM and WordPress content management system
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, SharePoint and MS Office products
