About the office

Campus Infrastructure and Facilities Division deliver comprehensive property and facilities management operations to the University community by using integrated systems and services to support the University’s teaching and learning, research endeavours and strategic objectives. 
 
About the role

This role is responsible for delivering front-line reception duties on site and administrative support within the Fremantle Campus Services team, ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the team and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships, responding to a wide range of enquiries while liaising with various internal teams.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders across multiple channels (face-to-face, phone, email, and zoom).
  • Provide front-of-house support, including campus reception duties and assistance with local events as required.
  • Accurately manage administrative tasks such as data entry, validation, and issue resolution, ensuring high attention to detail.
  • Apply policies, procedures, and standards to organise and prioritise work effectively under general direction.
  • Support national reception operations by providing relief cover (via Teams) in collaboration with Sydney and Broome reception teams.

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • Completion of a Certificate III, or Completion of Year 12 or a Certificate II, with relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/ training.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using a range of computer-based applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and information management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with students, staff at all levels, and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to deliver service-oriented support, maintaining a high standard of customer service in all interactions.
  • Experience in preparing and managing documents, including data entry, formatting reports, and handling records with accuracy and attention to detail.
