ABOUT THE ROLE

Student Administration at the University of Notre Dame provides expertise, service and operational support across a broad range of student administration, student service and key regulatory, policy and compliance functions that support the academic decisions of the Faculties, Schools and other relevant departments at the university including enrolment, timetabling, student fees, examinations, international student compliance, student records, graduation and conferral. 

 

This position works across our Examinations and Graduation team providing administrative support to both functions across the year. The position reports to the Senior Team Leader Student Administration.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide administrative support, data entry and preparation of documentation and materials to effectively support a range of activities for the team primarily in Examinations and Graduations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient operations of Examinations and Graduations.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of compliant and accurate documentation and training material that outlines the processes and procedures related to Examinations and Graduation.
  • Assist with administrative and student record updates, referred student enquiries and front facing support as requested by the Senior Team Leader.

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and to use own initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines using effective time management, organisational and planning skills.
  • Established interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possess high level computer literacy skills, accuracy and an attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact and discretion as well as proven experience handling sensitive and personal information in a confidential and appropriate manner.
