We have a unique opportunity for a Studio Administrator to support the work of a corporate/commercial architecture studio in the Seattle office. This key position requires an intuitive, energetic, and organized individual who is excited about taking on the role as the main resource for a group of 50 design professionals in a fast-paced/high-energy environment. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with diverse personalities, management styles, and brings a positive attitude to a fun work environment.

Joining the studio as a studio administrator presents a unique opportunity to grow your leadership skills. When the desires and abilities align, additional tasks may be added as appropriate to the skills and personality of the individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working collaboratively with the existing administrative staff in the studio
  • Managing complex calendars and submitting expense reports on behalf of studio leadership
  • Conference room scheduling and set up, including: equipment, technology, supplies, and coordinating with caterers for food and beverage delivery
  • Special event planning and logistics for both on-site and off-site events
  • Composing meeting notes and general correspondence as needed
  • Responsible for New Hire coordination, as well as training, onboarding, and first day orientation for New Hires
  • Responsible for keeping studio/employee information current
  • Managing studio office space and functionality
  • Coordination of packages, deliveries, and incoming mail
  • Act as a primary resource for all studio members
  • Interfacing and collaboration with various departments within the firm on behalf of the studio
  • Range of responsibilities and opportunities of this position is limited only by the drive of the successful candidate themselves

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous administrative experience is a must; experience in an architecture or design firm desired
  • Strong customer service skills and flexibility are key
  • Excellent professional writing and communication ability
  • Ability to work with a diverse and large group of creative professionals
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized with an unmatched ability to multi-task
  • Expert computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook are a must; experience with the full Adobe Suite and Bluebeam desired
