We are seeking a Senior Project Architect - Civic Commercial Studio who has worked on complex projectsThis is an opportunity to join a fully integrated design studio where a diverse group of technical architects, interior designers, medical planners and clinical consultants collaborate as a team from concept design through construction. 

Your New Role:

  • Provides code review and conformance on projects
  • Performs construction administration to uphold the integrity of the project
  • Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
  • Lead construction meetings with client and contractor
  • Solves project related technical problems through sound decision-making, judgment, research and the development of building systems innovations
  • Applies sound and diverse knowledge of architectural principles and practices
  • Performs complex and challenging assignments
  • Coordinates with consultants (engineering and/or construction) on building systems issues
  • Works with Project Designer and Project Architect to carry concept from design to reality and works with the team members to provide production technology and systems education

 

What you will need to Succeed:

  • 10+ years of experience in Architecture
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree required; Master of Architecture preferred
  • Architectural License required (WA license preferred
  • LEED Accreditation a plus or within 18 months of hire
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Must be well versed in the components of Sustainable Design
  • User of AutoDesk Revit Architecture required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive approach to timely problem solving is a must
  • Ability to work within a highly collaborative team environment – best idea wins!
