The role at a glance:
NBBJ Los Angeles is seeking an Intermediate Technical Interior Architect to work on projects at a variety of scales including large complex projects. The position will offer the candidate opportunities to grow within the firm and exposure to an innovative, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
In your new role, you will:
• Participate in high-energy, collaborative team and project environments
• Responsible for producing architectural working drawings including all details for architectural interiors projects
• Maintain and organize project files, schedules and specifications
• Completes site visits and assists in construction supervision
• Complete site surveys/measure of existing conditions and produce drawings
• Partner with outside consultants
• Produce contract documents
• Facilitate and flex to work on multiple projects simultaneously
What you will need to succeed:
• 10+ years of experience
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• Organized, detail oriented, deadline driven
• Strong technical and practical CAD skills with an understanding of architectural conventions, including floor plans, sections, electrical and millwork
• Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills
• Strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino and/or 3DS Max
• Creation of presentation books and materials
• Job site experience, including working with architects, builders and landscape architects
• Experience with researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes
• Experience with furniture selection and specification
• Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment
The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $100,000 and $112,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
