The role at a glance:
 NBBJ Seattle is seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer or Interior Architect to work on projects at a variety of scales. We have opportunities within our corporate/commercial, civic and cultural, and healthcare studios. The position will offer the candidate opportunities to grow within the firm and exposure to an innovative, creative, and highly collaborative environment. We seek candidates who are both self-motivated and team players.  
In your new role you will:
  • Participate in high-energy, collaborative teams on a wide-range of project types. 
  • Proactive team engagement to participate in ideation at all levels 
  • Design and documentation support on projects of various sizes and complexities. 
  • Develop and implement overall design concepts and finish palettes through all phases of design. 
  • Learn and be curious 
What you will need to succeed:
  • 7 – 10 years of professional experience in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • LEED Accreditation or within 18 months of hire
  • Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills
  • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills
  • Ability to lead aspects of work with design direction
  • Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino, Sketchup
  • Creation of presentation books and materials
  • Experience with researching, selecting and specifying materials and finishes
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, open environment
  • Furniture selection experience is beneficial
  • Corporate and commercial design experience is beneficial
  • Client presentation skills is beneficial
  • Position is full-time, in office.
The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $80,000 and $100,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.
